1. We’re marking this as Planned as we want to offer this at least some point in the near future.

   RankMath (rankmath.com) – SEO

2. I think that is a good idea. It’s actually something we’ve been looking into and are in talks with a few vendors about.

3. I think the primary issue is volume.

   As a separate “package” offering / addon, I suspect most people will ignore or simply not purchase, which doesn’t give us enough volume to truly negotiate larger discounts.

   If we bundled it into all our plans, we’d certainly have the volume, but then users are covering the costs for something they might not need.

   So it’s a really a balancing act of sorts.

4. I think, Rankmath will be good for initial stage, having an enterprise edition of It will be usefull.

   Would love more bundles like, Divi Premium Builder or other packs, Like image compression, caching, security etc.

      We’ll definitely look into those you listed. Rankmath appears to have a plan specifically for that. I’d also love to get your thoughts on The Seo Framework: https://theseoframework.com/pricing/ – which I’m personally a big fan of 🙂

      The one we are currently looking at is Perfmatters (perfmatter.io) – really great team behind it, not bloated, and we’ve been able to achieve some really darn insane results with it on our sites: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/blog.cynderhost.com/sbRnlTd0/ (<180 ms full load!) – so I'd love to get your thoughts on that too

      1. The SEO framework is good, but doesn’t have much features like Rankmath – like Video Seo, User roles etc. And it’s lot costlier compared to rank math.

         Perfmatters.io is only performance boosting plugin, which I think not many users are into, Only web pros, I think wpmudev.com has a bundle with good pro plugins.

         1. Thanks for the feedback! Pricing isn’t much of an issue, and they’re pretty similar, but we do want something users actually want.

            Perfmatters is completely performance focused and it does damn well at it. I do agree it’s not “one click” and forget, but it’s quite easy too, and we’d probably generate some profiles that are already “preset” for most sites.

            I hate WPMUDev plugins. I really do. They’re bloated, slow, pretty darn useless, and they seem to care more about fancy pictures and animations than actually creating something useful.

            ie WP Smush offers some of the worst compression ratios I’ve seen.
            Hummingbird is also incredibly useless crap.

            I know bundling them together adds some value, especially on the marketing side – but especially given they offer hosting too, I doubt they’d be willing to work out a deal.

            Another thing – we’d also have to consider the scope of support with these plugins – if we offer any “bundled” we’d almost certainly be expected to provide support for them, even if it’s technically not covered by our scope of support. So that’s another thing lol.

            1. Personally I haven’t tried those plugins like hummingbird etc, I have smush free version it works fine. I don’t know about about other plugins they are offering. Certainly support will be an issue as they themselves are kind of hosting company & recommended for Agency i suppose.

               But Rankmath is good, Almost YOAST level I guess, didn’t try YOAST or SEOFramework, Like modern and new website Rankmath is more easy to work with, And advance level features are included both yoast & seo framework are not offering those.

      2. The metrix won’t do any justice as the blog is using twentytwenty theme, its lightweight and doesn’t have any UI elements, Just a name sake number good for marketing.

         Trying out in some resource heavy site will be a different story.

         1. That’s true, but 100-200ms or so is usually the TTFB alone of a site – even on something like 2020

            We don’t run any “heavy” sites – we don’t have a need, and when we do use WordPress (like this installation!) it’s always incredibly light – we have exactly two plugins right now – our own, and a plugin for the feature requests

            We have worked with it on several client sites that are much heavier (woocom, etc) with also amazing results, so it’s certainly not just “marketing” 🙂

            Unfortunately, I’m not at liberty of sharing those because of privacy concerns, so our own properties are all we have :/

            1. Yeah, It might help I have no idea about performatters as I am learning about this right now, Doing a extensive research I will know more about the product.
               How it works! Like sometimes certain things work well together & certain things don’t work. On a big scale figuring out this things is difficult task.

5. Certainly Perfmatters is good plugin, If it does what it supposed to do, Then its highly recommended I would say. But there are few things, I have doubts like is it like AMP type or something different.

   As AMP plugin certainly breaks lot of features on the site. And if it can replace AMP then It would be best option.

   1. Nope – perfmatters is just a normal optimization plugin that does basic stuff really well – defer, unload, delay, lazy load, fonts, cdn, db, etc.

      AMP is a waste of time – you can quote us on that 😉 – and we’d never recommend anything like that

      1. Yes, after using AMP its not a great experience, Google recommends that dumb plugin for Google News etc.

         Still figuring out best ways, to optimize – perfmatters is good, should give it a try in near future.

         As my site speed insight score has gone very low, Technically these things matter, But I would love to try to offer best experience to the readers.
